Alberta Bound

Well as per usual I drove in the torrential rain today and Craig got the sunshine. Funny how that happens.  I drove from Saskatoon to the Alberta border and then Craig took over the wheel to Edmonton.  We left Saskatoon at 1pm and arrived in Edmonton at about 8pm.   Again Mocha was amazing in the truck and only yelled at us a couple of times when turning a corner.  The dogs, well maybe just Molly & Blitz, had alot of interest in the cows and horses in our travels today.

Phoned my big brother Mike who lives in Edmonton to set up a time to meet tomorrow and my other brother Bob, his wife Laura and our niece Kristen will come up from Airdrie to spend the day with us.  Hopefully we will hit an Ikea to pick up a catalogue and have a look around.  Other than that just hang with my bros.

We are staying at the Sawridge Inn Edmonton South and the room is very comfortable with a king size bed, so enough room for Craig and I and the 3 dogs. haha  If you are even in Edmonton with a pet I would highly recommend this hotel.

We will be spending a couple of days here in Edmonton leaving for High Level on Sunday morning.  For now we have ordered room service and watching Calgary kick Edmonton's butt.
