Spending time in Lac du Bonnet

We have been in Lac du Bonnet spending time with the in-laws. No in-law jokes needed as I love my mother and father in law.  Our evenings are spent playing rummy, 65 and scrabble.  Craig's mom and I headed into town yesterday to do a little grocery shopping, I was in heaven as there were so many choices of fresh fruit and veggies.  Last evening and this evening we had a face-to-face conversation with Craig's brother Ken, his wife Andrea and their daughter Jade, us in Lac du Bonnet and them in Florida.  Last night the neighbours John and Bonnie came over for a visit and to look at some pictures of our adventures.  It is nice and relaxing here sitting in the living room, in front of a fire either reading or on our laptops.

There is no snow here yet so Craig and I decided to walk up to the 'mountain' with the dogs after lunch.  For those of you who do not what the mountain is here, it is part of the Canadian Shield.  The views up there are pretty and you can see Pinawa Bay and also Craig's mom and dad's home.  The dogs had a blast except for the couple of little mishaps, Hannah tried to jump up a rock and fell onto her back.  Yes Dr. Robertson her back but don't worry she is fine, she's a tough ole girl.  Blitz was running around like any 1 1/2 year old GSP and fell down a rock formation and now has a bit of a limp.  Nothing broken I think he probably just pulled something.

Tomorrow we head into Winnipeg for the day, vet re-checks for Blitz and Molly, going for lunch with some of the people from my old work, afternoon of shopping and meeting our friends Sandy & Keith for dinner.  Hannah is donating blood tomorrow and hopefully Blitz will for the first time.  All in all it will be a busy but good day tomorrow.

Tonights pics are from our walk up the mountain.

Talk soon!
