Good morning world! We arrived safely in Edmonton last night and just in time to have an hour of power shopping at Ikea. It is just down the street from the Sawridge Inn where we are staying, LOVE this hotel. You could say we spent some cash at Ikea, bought new drapes, bathroom fixtures, handles for the kitchen cupboards, lights, etc etc etc. Now I have to wait another couple of weeks before I can use any of these.
We are just about to leave for the long drive to Manitoba today but wanted to do a quick blog before heading out the door. We are all doing fine including the dogs, so glad that they love going for truck rides. Blitz really wanted to get into the front seat to snuggle at one point yesterday, I don't think he realizes that he is 55lbs.
We didn't see much for wildlife on the trip to Edmonton, a couple of foxes and alot of road kill including a moose, just glad it wasn't us that hit that moose.
Sorry no pics today just wanted to let you all know that we are fine. I will not have internet access at my mom's so the next post will probably on Sunday evening when we are at Craig's parents.
